Unconventional use of color and accessories can make even the smallest spaces give a big impression.
In this half bath renovation the original room dimensions were cut in half. The space originally housed a large vanity with sink, a toilet, a closet, and space for a full-size washer and dryer. A need for a bathroom update and more storage space prompted the downsizing of the half bath.
Installation of a black and white diamond and octagonal ceramic tile floor, white-painted bead board, and white porcelain pedestal sink and toilet gave this reno a “classic look”. The “wow” factor was added when a black wallpaper with a sliver William Morris-style pattern was hung above the bead board. The use of bold silver Indian-influenced accessories and white 2-inch slat blinds with black fabric ribbon finished the look.
